Graphic Designer (Summer Contract)

About the role

Grimshaw is looking for a Graphic Designer to join its New York studio for a summer contract from June through August 2026. The role covers a team member’s leave and requires a fast ramp‑up to support architectural, business development, and communications projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce visual materials for architectural projects, including publications, visual identities, reports, presentations and digital media.
• Create marketing deliverables such as reports, presentation decks and competition entries.
• Develop infographics, layout collateral, and promotional videos to simplify complex data.
• Maintain InDesign master pages, paragraph and character styles for large‑scale books.
• Support internal communications, archive assets and provide technical advice for project presentations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within architecture or related professional services.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a solid eye for editorial layout and visual systems.
