Graphic Designer

About the role

The University of Arizona is seeking a Graphic Designer to create compelling visual communications that reinforce brand identity and support university priorities. Reporting to the Executive Director of Brand Storytelling & Creative, you will develop audience‑centered design solutions for print, digital, social and multimedia platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high‑quality assets across print, digital, environmental, presentation, social media, advertising, email and web channels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate strategic objectives into visual concepts.
• Maintain brand consistency, accessibility, usability and technical accuracy in all deliverables.
• Prepare production‑ready files and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Research emerging design trends and incorporate best practices.
• Present design rationale and incorporate stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to create high‑volume graphic design work for both print and digital distribution.
• Experience collaborating with writers, photographers, videographers, developers and vendors.
• Strong understanding of brand standards, accessibility guidelines and production quality.
• Excellent visual storytelling and communication skills.
