Graphic Design Intern – Sports & Entertainment

About the role

The New York Islanders and UBS Arena are looking for a motivated Graphic Design Intern to support their creative teams. This hands‑on internship offers real‑world experience across branding, game presentation, venue marketing, live events, digital, social, print, partnership, and community channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating digital and print assets such as paid/social graphics, email visuals, web banners, and sales collateral.
• Prepare production‑ready files for print, large‑format signage, and in‑venue displays.
• Maintain brand standards, templates, layouts, and asset libraries for both the New York Islanders and UBS Arena.
• Communicate progress, raise questions early, and flag any issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date on design trends, live‑entertainment best practices, and sports‑marketing insights.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Some coursework, freelance, or project experience in graphic design.
• Eager to learn brand systems, marketing needs, and production realities.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to uphold brand standards.
