About the role
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is hiring graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) and graduate research assistants (GRAs) for the upcoming academic term. These work‑study positions support undergraduate courses and faculty‑led research projects while providing graduate students with valuable teaching and research experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the course instructor with preparing and delivering class materials, grading assignments, and holding office hours (GTA).
- Provide technical support for laboratory sessions and tutoring for students.
- Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and experimental work under the supervision of a graduate faculty member (GRA).
- Prepare progress reports and contribute to scholarly publications as directed.
Required profile
- Currently admitted to a graduate program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (MS in Computer Science, Ph.D. in Computer Science, or related graduate program).
- Strong academic record in computer science or a closely related field.
- Ability to work under direct supervision of faculty members.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
