Graduate Teaching Assistant – Information Science

About the role

The Department of Information Science is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Spring 2024. The TA will support graduate‑level information science courses, working directly under a faculty supervisor to enhance classroom instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Attend scheduled class sessions and assist the instructor during lectures.
• Provide instructional support, including facilitating discussions and labs.
• Assist with grading assignments, exams, and projects.
• Maintain regular attendance and fulfill the required weekly hours (20 hrs for full‑time, 10 hrs for part‑time).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Current admission to a graduate program at UA Little Rock or good standing with the Graduate School.
• Ability to work the designated hours with consistent attendance.
