Graduate Assistant for Educational Leadership EdD Program

About the role

The Department of Educational Leadership at Fresno State seeks graduate students to support the EdD program as Graduate Assistants. This part‑time, temporary position offers up to 20 hours per week and provides hands‑on experience in research, teaching support, and program development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional non‑teaching assistance to faculty members.
• Assist with research projects and preparation of course materials.
• Supervise or support students in classrooms, workshops, or labs under faculty supervision.
• Train students in the use of equipment and other resources.
• Participate in evaluation and tutoring of students.
• Develop processes to foster engagement with the EdD community, including alumni and prospective students.
• Collaborate with the Program Advisor to track alumni information and organize webinars, socials, and other outreach activities.
• Identify and collect alumni achievements for promotion on social media and the program website.

Required profile

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 + preferred).
• Enrollment in the EdD Educational Leadership program.
• International students must have a TOEFL score of 600 or higher.
