About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Athletics department is seeking motivated graduate students to gain practical, hands‑on experience in intercollegiate athletics while pursuing a graduate degree.

Key responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with coaches, administrators, staff, student‑athletes, and campus partners to support daily operations and strategic objectives of Golden Lion Athletics.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of athletic events, practices, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop professional skills, build relationships within intercollegiate athletics, and gain experience with an NCAA Division II Athletics Department.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution prior to the start of the appointment.
  • Admission or eligibility for admission to a University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff graduate program.
  • Ability to meet and maintain university requirements for Graduate Assistant enrollment and academic standing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
