About the role
The Graduate Assistant position supports the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Assistants work either 10 or 20 hours per week, contributing to teaching, research, administration, or public‑service projects across various college units.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for classroom instruction, including grading, tutoring, or lab assistance.
- Assist faculty with research activities such as data collection, literature reviews, and report preparation.
- Perform administrative tasks like scheduling, record‑keeping, and event coordination.
- Engage in community‑oriented projects or public‑service initiatives as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Regular admission to a graduate degree program at UA Little Rock or good standing with the Graduate School.
- Ability to work the required 10 or 20 hours per week with reliable attendance.
