GME Program Administrator – Full‑Time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Surgery seeks a full‑time GME Program Administrator to oversee daily operations of medical residency and fellowship programs, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards and supporting program directors, residents, and fellows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative operations for one or more residency/fellowship programs, including resident data, schedules, duty‑hour reporting, and conference attendance.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, NRMP match processes, interview scheduling, and ERAS updates.
• Serve as liaison among program directors, faculty, hospital staff, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accreditation documentation, prepare reports for ACGME, GMEC, and other regulatory bodies.
• Oversee software systems such as New Innovations Residency Management Suite, ERAS, and KRONOS for timekeeping and payroll.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum four years of experience in graduate medical education administration or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of ACGME accreditation standards, medical licensure, and immigration policies.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work in a fast‑paced executive office.
