Global Supply Manager - Indirect

About the role

Waabi, a Physical AI company behind autonomous trucks and robotaxis, is hiring a Global Supply Manager for its Global Supply Chain Team in Pittsburgh. The role covers indirect categories such as IT hardware, SaaS, operations, professional services and facilities, and works closely with legal and finance on contract negotiation.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial contracts, purchase order releases, budgeting and forecasting, and request for quotations across indirect categories
• Develop and run global sourcing strategies for indirect categories
• Build relationships with internal customers and align procurement strategy with business goals
• Lead the full RFx process (RFP, RFQ, RFI), including market research, supplier identification, bid analysis and supplier selection
• Negotiate PSAs, SOWs and SLAs with Legal and Finance
• Maintain CLM data integrity, tracking and compliance
• Manage key indirect suppliers, including quarterly business reviews
• Drive year-over-year savings through competitive bidding, demand management and process improvements
• Refine procure-to-pay processes and track open supply chain issues to closure

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Supply Chain, Finance, Management) or Engineering
• 4+ years of supply chain experience
• Background in supplier relationship management
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time to Waabi locations

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Expertise in Source-to-Pay processes
• Collaborative team player passionate about self-driving technologies

Nice to have: experience in the autonomous or electric vehicle industry, MBA or JD.
