Global Supply Chain Rotational Program – Volume Buyer I (Gloucester, MA)

About the role

The Global Supply Chain Rotational Program is a 30‑month development experience for new college graduates. As a Volume Buyer I you will support state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities by procuring materials, supplies and services while rotating through purchasing, project management and supplier account roles.

Key responsibilities

• Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, negotiate prices and execute purchase orders to meet volume manufacturing needs.
• Develop and implement commodity strategies, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and resolve supply‑chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time.
• Forecast engineering and material requirements, communicate with suppliers and perform Make‑vs‑Buy analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Good academic standing, preferably GPA ≥ 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Technical knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, R, SAS, SQL and Python.
