The role sits at the intersection of People, Legal and Workplace Experience, covering physical security, incident response, travel risk, executive protection and emergency preparedness across global offices. It is the foundational hire in the function, responsible for defining its long-term vision.
Key responsibilities

- Develop emergency preparedness and response plans across all locations
- Build and run a travel risk program, assessing risk for elevated-risk destinations and partnering with People Ops and Legal on duty of care
- Provide executive protection for senior leadership, including during high-profile events and travel, and manage external EP partners
- Establish safety and security standards, prepare the function for audits, insurance and public-company expectations, and partner with Legal, People and Workplace on compliance and reporting
- Manage security vendors and partners, set service standards and hold them accountable
- Design clear, transparent safety programs and communications that build employee trust
Required profile
- 8-12 years of experience in corporate security, physical security, law enforcement or a closely related field, ideally at both high-growth tech companies and more mature organizations
- Experience building or scaling a corporate safety and security function from the ground up
- Experience running travel risk programs and executive protection, including vendor and partner management
- Ability to write clear, proportional policy that people adopt
- Sound judgment in sensitive situations and experience partnering with HR, Legal and Workplace
- Preferred: CPP, PSP or equivalent certification
What we offer

- Flexible paid time off and recharge days, paid parental leave up to 16 weeks
- Health coverage, fertility and family-building benefits, mental health support and coaching
- Professional development, wellness and work-from-home stipends
- Retirement plan depending on country of employment
- Hybrid model of three days in the office per week, with up to 4 weeks of remote work per year possible
