Global Data Synchronization Manager

About the role

The Global Data Synchronization Manager partners with the Master Data Management Global Governance Director and the Global Process Owner for MDM to ensure consistent execution, governance, and continuous improvement of 3M’s data synchronization strategy. This role drives global GTIN management, council leadership, and process enhancements across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure global management of GTIN for all 3M country memberships.
• Manage the Global Council on GTIN/Data Synchronization.
• Lead registration of all SKUs with GS1 and other relevant bodies.
• Drive global requirements tracking and right‑size GTIN inventory management.
• Develop and execute projects to improve the Global Data Synchronization process and impact key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum seven years of operations management experience, preferably with GS1.
• At least three years of experience working with global teams.
• Three years of strong understanding of process management and operational governance.
• Additional experience such as ten years of operations management, project management, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
