About the role
We are seeking a skilled General Tort Litigation Attorney to join our fully remote team. The role involves handling complex tort matters for a firm that values autonomy and results, while offering flexibility to work from anywhere.
Key responsibilities
- Manage general tort cases from intake through discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.
- Draft pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and settlement demands.
- Conduct depositions and prepare for mediations and court appearances.
- Analyze liability, damages, and coverage issues and negotiate resolutions.
Required profile
- J.D. degree and active New York Bar admission.
- 2–6+ years of experience in tort or civil litigation (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong litigation, writing, and client communication abilities.
