General Superintendent

About the role

High Country Fence is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple fencing projects. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the company’s quality standards while coordinating closely with office leadership and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of multiple active projects from mobilization through completion.
• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate construction activities, supervise foremen and laborers, and manage logistics for materials, equipment, and workforce.
• Monitor project progress, production rates, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring schedules are met.
• Collaborate with the Director of Field Operations and Project Managers to align field teams, resolve issues, and optimize resource deployment.
• Handle quality control, project close‑outs, and utility locate coordination.
• Communicate regularly with client site managers regarding scheduling, progress, and on‑site concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising field crews on construction or fencing projects.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a focus on schedule discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively with office staff, project managers, and clients.
