General Superintendent – Field Operations

About the role

The General Superintendent leads field operations for multiple fence installation projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. You will work outdoors, coordinating crews, resources, and schedules to deliver high‑quality results from mobilization through project closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of multiple active projects, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices to improve performance and profitability.
• Coordinate with the Director of Field Operations and project managers to align schedules, resources, and problem‑resolution strategies.
• Supervise foremen, laborers, and all field personnel, monitoring progress, production, and quality control.
• Manage logistics for materials, equipment, and workforce to prevent delays.
• Communicate regularly with client site managers regarding scheduling, progress, and on‑site issues.
• Track expenses, budgets, and forecasts, identifying cost issues and coaching teams to resolve them.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading field crews in construction or fence installation.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and enforce schedule discipline.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients, project managers, and internal teams.
• Leadership mindset with a focus on coaching and developing foremen and laborers.
