General Production Operator

About the role

Flowers Foods is seeking a General Production Operator to join its bakery manufacturing team. The role involves operating automated equipment, troubleshooting machinery, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure safe, high‑quality baked goods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment, including mixers, dough pumps, dividers, rounders, and overhead proofers.
• Perform primary diagnosis of machinery failures and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Scale ingredients accurately and manage product flow according to production schedules.
• Execute start‑up and shut‑down sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Rotate among different job assignments (e.g., scaler/divider operator, wrapping operator) as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
