General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant

About the role

The General Manager is accountable for operating a profitable McDonald's franchise restaurant while upholding the brand’s high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will lead a team of Department Managers, set performance goals, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define restaurant goals and develop action plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers to achieve their individual targets.
• Hire, train, and mentor Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a General Manager in a high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality environment.
• Strong background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired; hospitality or retail experience is also acceptable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to lead teams, set goals, and drive results.
