General Manager - Pharmacist in Charge

About the role

The General Manager – Pharmacist in Charge will lead pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, adherence packaging, and delivery to pharmacies and long‑term care facilities. This role combines clinical expertise with management to improve medication adherence for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Answer medication questions, advise on drug safety and interactions.
• Collect patient histories and maintain accurate medication profiles.
• Deliver and set up Spencer devices in patients’ homes.
• Manage prescription transfers, physician calls, and drug utilization reviews.
• Maintain accurate patient and financial records and generate timely Adherenet reports.
• Oversee drug procurement, dispensing, monitoring, and provide drug information to staff.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and automated dispensing machine preparation.
• Assist with shipping, billing, and represent Custom Health as a brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of line management experience in a retail or closed‑door pharmacy setting.
• Active pharmacy license in the state of Florida.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adherenet software.
• Experience operating automated dispensing machines.
