General Manager – Austin River Park Venue

About the role

The General Manager will lead all aspects of the new 4,000‑capacity indoor venue at River Park in Austin. Reporting to corporate leadership, you will ensure smooth daily operations, safety compliance, and a world‑class experience for guests and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all facility operations, including planning, organizing, and managing staff and daily activities.
• Coordinate programs, events, and schedules; conduct post‑event operational and financial reviews.
• Evaluate and improve policies and procedures to boost efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Manage staff functions: recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
• Define organizational structure, staffing requirements, job descriptions, and performance standards.
• Lead cross‑functional meetings related to operations, finance, and production.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and local safety regulations.
• Act as liaison between corporate staff, vendors, and venue partners.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing large‑scale entertainment or venue operations.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
