General Manager – 55 Hudson Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the 55 Hudson multifamily community in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role is responsible for leading the on‑site team, ensuring financial performance, and maintaining compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data to forecast performance.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease administration, including applicant approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends that could affect the property and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing high‑rise multifamily communities of 500+ units.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily regulations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing budgets, financial statements, and operational reports.
• Ability to lead a property team and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and owners.
