About the role

Infosys’ Data and Analytics (DNA) unit is seeking a GEN AI and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) Engineer to join its Alpharetta, GA team. The role sits within the Data Science Consultant 2 career track and focuses on building advanced AI‑driven solutions that turn data into actionable insights for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cleanse data, identifying patterns and anomalies to ensure readiness for modeling.
• Design, develop and fine‑tune forecasting models and LLM‑based solutions that meet business requirements.
• Test, optimize and scale algorithms for performance, reliability and production deployment.
• Create predictive models and data‑driven analyses to solve complex business challenges.
• Build, evaluate, standardize and deploy models while maintaining reusable code libraries.
• Use SAS, R and Python to implement customizations for non‑ML, ML and deep‑learning workflows, including LLM integration.
• Define analytics problems, produce visualisations, conduct analysis and predictive modelling under guidance.
• Maintain models in production, apply improvements and enforce governance controls for risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Strong background in data preparation, statistical modelling and algorithm optimisation.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end AI solutions that move from prototype to scalable production.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and share best practices.
• Commitment to continuous learning in emerging AI technologies.
