Gen AI Engineer – Generative AI & Data Analytics

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Gen AI Engineer to join its Topaz AI‑first suite, driving the design and deployment of generative‑AI solutions for enterprise clients. The role focuses on building scalable models, including large language models, and integrating them into production‑ready analytics pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cleanse data, detect patterns and anomalies to ensure readiness for advanced modeling.
• Develop and fine‑tune forecasting, LLM‑based and other generative‑AI models that address specific business problems.
• Test, optimize and scale algorithms for performance, reliability and production deployment.
• Guide team members on best practices and contribute to knowledge‑management assets.
• Design predictive models and data‑driven analyses, standardize code, and create reusable components using SAS, R and Python.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data preparation and model development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑city environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
