Gastroenterologist – Full‑time Position in The Woodlands, TX

About the role

Join a leading academic medical group as a gastroenterologist providing comprehensive care to a growing patient population in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work in a collaborative environment that balances inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Manage acute and chronic GI conditions in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with primary care, surgery, oncology, and other multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and procedures.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain or hold a Texas medical license in good standing.
• Open to candidates with experience or recent fellowship/residency graduates.
