Full‑Time Ultrasound Technologist – Jackson OB/GYN Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Ultrasound Technologist to join our Jackson OB/GYN Clinic and Vascular Clinic. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including ABI testing, and provide accurate oral or written reports of each study.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine diagnostic and vascular ultrasound studies, covering both venous and arterial examinations.
• Review patient charts, maintain data logs, and process images using PACS.
• Provide oral or written summaries of exam findings.
• Assist physicians during procedures by preparing equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and clean ultrasound probes and related equipment.
• Close out procedures in the computer system and update all required paperwork and databases.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to deliver ultrasound services to inpatients and the Emergency Department.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology or Medical Sonography program.
• Minimum six months of hands‑on clinical training.
• Registered with ARRT in Ultrasonography or ARDMS in Physics and ABD/OB, with vascular registration.
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift over 25 lb; portable exam capability required.
