Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist – Cardiac Sonographer

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist to support electrophysiology and interventional cardiology teams across the Alabama region and Nashville, TN. The specialist will provide expert clinical and technical assistance for advanced cardiac ablation and imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product training and technical support for AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters, as well as the CARTO® System and related software modules (CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, Stockert RF generator).
• Build and maintain relationships with EP physicians, interventional cardiologists, and laboratory staff to drive product adoption and utilization.
• Collaborate with regional business directors, territory managers, field service engineers, and internal partners to align activities and meet business objectives.
• Provide in‑service education, troubleshoot technical issues, and share best practices to enhance customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant professional/military experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
• Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 40% overnight.

Required skills

• Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge.
• Proficiency with electrophysiology equipment, including AcuNav™, SOUNDSTAR™, CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, and Stockert RF generator.
• Consultative selling and customer education techniques.
• Ability to work in high‑stress, hospital laboratory environments and lift up to 60 lb.
