Full‑Time Porter – Restaurant Associates

About the role

Restaurant Associates is seeking a reliable Porter to keep the front‑of‑house area clean, safe and ready for guests. This full‑time position works Monday‑through‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM, with weekends off.

Key responsibilities

• Bus, clear and clean tables, counters, floors, windows and beverage stations during service.
• Transport dishes, utensils and trays safely between the dining area and kitchen using carts or bus tubs.
• Wash dishes, glasses and pots by hand or load them into the commercial dishwasher, ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Maintain clean display equipment and cooking stations throughout meal service.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and move items to storage while following safe‑lifting procedures.
• Support other duties as assigned, adhering to HACCP and company safety policies.

Required profile

• Prior food‑service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights throughout the shift.
• Commitment to personal and team safety and to following all company policies.
• Availability for a full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic food‑safety and HACCP standards.
• Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment.
