About the role

The University of Miami Health System in Doral is seeking a full‑time Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic massage services to patients across outpatient, inpatient, and infusion areas. The role focuses on pain control, stress reduction, and relaxation while supporting patients' overall treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Administer table and chair massages for patients before and after treatments.
• Obtain and document basic medical histories, assess soft‑tissue condition, joint function, muscle strength, and range of motion.
• Recommend and apply appropriate massage techniques based on each patient’s health status.
• Manage inventory of treatment supplies and maintain organized treatment areas.
• Prepare and blend therapeutic oils and apply them to patients as needed.
• Provide patients with guidance on posture, stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitation techniques.

Required profile

• Licensed massage therapist with experience in clinical or healthcare settings.
• Ability to interview patients, gather medical information, and assess physical conditions.
• Comfort working in diverse environments such as outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and infusion rooms.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory control and documentation.
