About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Full‑Time Forklift Operator for its Wilson, NC service center. The position works the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM, handling freight safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read and follow manifests and computer‑display instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
