Full‑Time Caregiver with Benefits (CNA or HCA) – King, Snohomish & Pierce County

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking full‑time caregivers to provide in‑home, facility, or adult‑family‑home care across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties. Candidates must hold an active CNA or HCA license in Washington state.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in an on‑call rotation and deliver hands‑on patient care at the assigned location.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and skin care.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and other delegated tasks, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse.
• Follow individualized care plans, safety, and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active Washington State CNA or HCA license (training can be completed on‑site).
• Good standing with the Washington DSHS Background Check System.
• Reliable transportation and, if providing client transport, a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Required skills

• CNA or HCA licensure.
• Ability to lift 50 lb using proper body mechanics.
• Basic vital‑sign measurement.

• PTO accrued at 0.038 hr⁻¹ (≈80 hrs annually) after 6 months.
