About the role

TD is seeking a full‑time Teller for its Flatbush Avenue branch in Brooklyn. The position is ideal for a bilingual candidate who can speak Creole or French and is passionate about delivering legendary customer experiences while handling everyday banking transactions with precision.

Key responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe‑deposit box transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash operations including check cashing, currency verification, cash‑drawer balancing, and night deposits.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters to management when needed.
• Manage lobby flow, greet customers warmly, and guide them toward self‑service or digital banking options.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations, suggest appropriate financial or digital solutions, and refer customers to specialists as required.
• Mentor new tellers and assist supervisors with daily branch duties.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
• Secure cash drawers, ATMs, and safe‑deposit boxes, ensuring confidentiality of customer information.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in Creole or French is preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage cash responsibly.
• Understanding of banking regulations and commitment to compliance.
• Willingness to train and support new team members.
