Full-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer (Communications)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in San Bernardino, California. The officer serves and safeguards clients across industries such as logistics and distribution by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, keeping a visible presence to deter security incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns and critical situations, escalating them according to site procedures.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and the activity of visitors, contractors and drivers, verifying credentials and following entry and departure procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents and irregular conditions in required reports and share relevant information with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Applicants must pass a background investigation and a drug screen, as required by law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
