Full-Time Therapist: Provisionally Licensed Clinician

About the role

Centered Therapy Chicago is seeking a full‑time provisionally licensed clinician to join its feminist, relational group practice. The role blends in‑office and remote clinical work, focusing on somatic and trauma‑informed therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to clients across the lifespan, integrating mindfulness, movement, creative/expressive, and body‑oriented approaches.
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 22 sessions met per week (26‑28 scheduled) with protected time for documentation and supervision.
• Participate in weekly supervision, didactic training, and peer case consultation meetings.
• Collaborate with the team on intake coordination, client‑fit assignments, and training center activities.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental‑health field.
• Expected to obtain independent licensure (LCPC or LCSW) in Illinois within three years.
• Experience working with diverse client populations, especially those with trauma, attachment, relational, or identity concerns.
• Commitment to relational, multicultural, and trauma‑informed practice.

Required skills

• Familiarity with somatic and body‑oriented trauma modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, NARM, EMDR, or IFS.
• Ability to conduct culturally humble, strength‑based therapy within a feminist framework.
