Full-Time Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol (Communications)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Officer) in Kahului, Hawaii. The officer serves and safeguards clients across a range of industries, including financial institutions, by conducting routine patrols, keeping a visible presence to deter incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location, including business areas, parking areas, entry points and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, observations and completed patrols accurately and share relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Required profile

• A state, county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
