Full-Time Porter – Restaurant Associates

About the role

We are seeking a reliable full‑time Porter to join our team at Restaurant Associates in New York. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the front‑of‑house areas, ensuring a smooth and safe dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Bus, clear, and clean tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations during service.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely between the dining area and kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots by hand or operate the dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of display equipment and comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and move items to storage while following safe lifting practices.
• Support other duties as needed, adhering to HACCP and company policies.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn and follow procedures.
• Commitment to personal safety and the safety of coworkers.
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule, Monday through Friday, with variable hours.
