Full-time Porter – NYC Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable full‑time Porter to join our team at the Fauchon location in Manhattan. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the front‑of‑house area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Bus, clear, and clean tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations during service.
• Transport dishes, utensils, and equipment safely between the dining area and kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Operate dishwashing equipment, hand‑wash items as needed, and ensure all cookware is sanitized.
• Scrape and rinse food residues from dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.
• Maintain cleanliness of display equipment and ensure compliance with sanitation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year prior experience as a porter or in a similar hospitality role.
• Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule with varying hours and days.
• Strong attention to safety procedures when handling dishes and equipment.
