Full-Time Physician (MD/DO) – 4-Day Workweek

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Physician (MD or DO) to join our expanding health centre in Scotia, California. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary-care services to a diverse patient population while working within a collaborative, self-directed team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients of all ages, including acute and chronic conditions.
• Interpret laboratory and imaging results to guide clinical decisions.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Perform minor office procedures as needed.
• Counsel patients on disease management, prevention, and health-promotion strategies.
• Develop individualized management plans and follow-up schedules.
• Supervise and mentor mid-level practitioners, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Required profile

• Active California medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience in primary-care or family medicine practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel between multiple clinic locations as required.
• Preferred enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical record software.
