Full-Time Nursing Instructor – OB, Pediatrics, Med‑Surg

About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a dedicated Full‑Time Instructor to teach Associate Degree Nursing courses in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Medical‑Surgical nursing. The role involves classroom and clinical instruction, curriculum delivery, and student advisement within the Health and Public Safety Technology division.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily instruction in classroom and clinical settings following approved curricula.
• Develop and use effective teaching techniques, testing, and grading procedures.
• Maintain accurate grade books, student records, and laboratory equipment.
• Advise and counsel students, keeping thorough advisement documentation.
• Participate in student recruitment, job placement, and departmental committees.
• Ensure compliance with Technical College System of Georgia policies and accreditation standards.
• Prepare reports for the Georgia Board of Nursing and perform additional duties as assigned.
