Full-Time Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant provides consistent cleaning and guest‑service support for guest rooms and public areas at Fairmont Orchid, a luxury resort on Hawai‘i Island. You will ensure each space meets the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and personalized guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish guest supplies and promptly attend to guest requests.
• Maintain orderly and clean linen, supply, and housekeeping closets.
• Report any damage or malfunction in rooms or public areas.
• Deliver items such as linen to designated locations when required.
• Lift, carry, or pull heavy objects safely and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Uphold professional grooming and uniform standards at all times.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and take initiative for personalized guest experiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hotel cleanliness standards.
• Physical capability to handle lifting and moving of heavy items.
• Professional, polite, and efficient communication with guests and staff.
