About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator to move freight safely in and out of trailers at its Louisville service center. The role involves operating a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock and handling various shifts Monday‑Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read and follow shipping manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop regularly.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume LTL setting.
