About the role
R+L Carriers is looking for a full‑time Forklift Operator to safely move freight in and out of trailers at our Fife, WA service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock handling a variety of loads.
Key responsibilities
- Move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Required profile
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests.
- Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
- Prior forklift experience.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced setting.
- Some LTL (less‑than‑truckload) experience preferred.
