About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift at its Wilson, NC service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed dock while adhering to safety procedures.
- Read manifests and interact with computer displays to verify loads.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced setting.
- Ability to read manifests and use a computer display.
