Full-Time Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (Monday‑Friday) at its Ellenwood, GA service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, working on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Handle freight in enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload) experience is preferred.
