Full-time Faculty Anesthesiologist – $575k Salary, 10 Weeks Off

About the role

UT Health Tyler is seeking a full‑time General Anesthesiologist to join its academic faculty. The position offers a collaborative environment with a high‑volume surgical team and a generous compensation package that includes $575,000 for 42 weeks of service and 10 weeks of paid time off.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a broad case mix including trauma, endoscopy, major vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, neuro, orthopedic, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and podiatry procedures.
• Participate in a 1‑on‑11 in‑house 24‑hour call schedule with post‑call day off.
• Teach and mentor anesthesia residents, medical students, internal medicine residents, and family medicine residents.
• Maintain clinical excellence in an academic setting and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and academic teaching.
