Full-Time Clinical Pharmacist – Stem Cell Transplant

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Clinical Pharmacist to join the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy program at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to adult stem cell transplant patients in an outpatient oncology setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized clinical pharmacy services to adult stem cell transplant patients as part of interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on oncology‑related therapies.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff on medication management and stewardship.
• Participate in scholarly activities, in‑service education, and quality‑improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain medication‑related guidelines and support research initiatives.
• Serve as preceptor for the PGY‑2 Oncology residency program and mentor PGY‑1 residents and pharmacy students.
• Contribute to departmental committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Medication Events.

Required profile

• Active pharmacist licensure in good standing in the State of Florida.
• PharmD degree (or grandfathered license as described).
• Completion of PGY‑1 and PGY‑2 Hematology/Oncology residency or board certification in Oncology Pharmacy.
