Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Quindar is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop ground satellite operations software using Python, AWS, and modern web technologies. You will work on mission‑specific software for U.S. government programs while contributing to Quindar’s core product platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and cloud‑native applications for satellite operations workflows.
• Develop mission‑specific software and enhance the core product platform.
• Design, integrate, and troubleshoot services using AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, EKS, CloudWatch, EFS/EBS.
• Work across backend and frontend systems, integrating with React, TypeScript, GraphQL and modern frameworks.
• Improve scalability, security, cost efficiency, reliability and performance of satellite‑operations software.
• Build and support containerized and serverless architectures with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with operators, customers, product managers and engineers to deliver new capabilities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and automate development, deployment and operational workflows.

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, full‑stack engineering or DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work on time.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, EKS, CloudWatch, EFS/EBS).
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Git version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• React, TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, caching and event‑driven systems.
