Full Stack Developer (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join an agile team that provides full life-cycle support to client applications and tools. The developer refines and enhances existing applications, builds new solutions, translates user requirements into technical requirements and takes part in all stages of the software engineering lifecycle. The department focuses on Cyber Operations programs within national security.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and testing of applications using modern standards
• Collaborate on system design and architecture
• Translate user requirements into technical requirements
• Share operations and maintenance responsibilities with teammates
• Seek new and innovative ways to improve application development
• Provide on-call support to mission systems as needed

Required profile

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education, certifications and experience
• 7+ years in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment
• 7+ years with object-oriented programming such as Python or Ruby
• 7+ years in full-stack development (JavaScript, VueJS, NodeJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, etc.)

Required skills

• Strong Linux foundation
• Relational database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab and Git
• Software design patterns and principles
• AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, SQS, Apache HTTPD and infrastructure management
• Agile/Scrum and RESTful web services
• Desired: Rails, Rake, Cucumber, RSpec, Bootstrap/Material UI/Tailwind, AWS CLI/CDK/SDK, Apache Solr, SQL automation, CI/CD (Jenkins)
