Full Stack Developer

About the role

Cryptic Vector is seeking a Full Stack Developer to create and maintain mission‑critical software for United States government initiatives. You will work in secure, high‑stakes environments, delivering end‑to‑end solutions that range from intuitive user interfaces to robust back‑end processing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and modernize legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
• Create detailed API specifications, design RESTful interfaces, and integrate third‑party services.
• Build responsive front‑end applications using modern frameworks such as React or Angular, along with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Architect and implement back‑end services with Python and/or Node.js for data‑intensive applications.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL database schemas.
• Write automation scripts in Bash or Python to support deployment and data processing.
• Produce clean, well‑documented code and implement comprehensive automated testing suites (unit, integration, functional/E2E, performance).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mission stakeholders, and external partners to translate requirements into production‑ready systems.
