Front End PHP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Front End PHP Developer to design and build responsive, accessible public‑facing portal interfaces for data exploration and visualization. This short‑term contract role is fully remote and will work closely with an existing Front End Developer to meet project deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible UI components for a public portal.
• Implement interactive elements such as tree navigation, query builders, filter panels and visualization controls.
• Integrate geospatial visualizations using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript via REST endpoints.
• Create chart visualizations with Chart.js or D3.js for time‑series and analytical views.
• Develop data export features supporting multiple file formats.
• Ensure ADA, Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance using automated testing tools and CI/CD gates.
• Consume RESTful APIs, collaborate on API contracts and write unit/integration tests with Jest.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work within an Agile delivery framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience with PHP and front‑end development.
• Hands‑on experience building UI components and integrating visualizations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and defining API contracts.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Ability to work remotely while aligning with Mountain Time Zone schedules.
