Front End Engineer – Remote (JavaScript, CSS3)

About the role

Bold+Beyond is looking for an experienced Front‑End Engineer to join its Digital Product team as a remote contractor. You will work on high‑visibility projects for Fortune‑500 brands and fast‑growing startups, building scalable, responsive web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and project managers to translate designs into high‑quality front‑end code.
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress sites using PHP, the WordPress API or WP GraphQL.
• Implement modern web interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.js or Nuxt.
• Optimize performance, ensure accessibility, and conduct thorough QA, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Set up build pipelines with tools like Gulp, Webpack or Snowpack and manage CSS preprocessing (Sass, Less, Post‑CSS).
• Integrate front‑end animation libraries (GSAP, Tween, Anime.js) and support headless or server‑side rendering solutions.
• Deploy and maintain sites on VPS servers using automated scripts, FTP or SSH.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with WordPress development.
• At least 3 years working with modern front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
